I would love to pick up a Freya-N but I’m still paying for Tyr and MM2. Maybe if one becomes available after March. Then again I’m tempted to get Urd. We’ll see.

Modi MB 2 so far has been sounding great! I haven’t done a thorough review but I’m happy with the sound so far. The real update I want to highlight is Unison. With my older Modi MB I would plug my iPhone directly in and it worked well but if I left them connected for more than a few hours my phone’s battery would drain. I once forgot to disconnect them and after around 8-9 hours it killed my phone’s battery. Mind you this is without music playing. With MM2 my iphone battery seems unaffected. A very welcome surprise!

I have a Freya + as well as a tube pre-amp stage in my main power amp or I would go for it. Once I upgrade my DAC I may consider an URD, a DAC will have more of an impact on my system at this point in time.

I've been using the Audiolab 6000CDT for several years and love it. It's a real workhorse and keeps running like a Timex watch. That last comment is for the older crowd who remembers the Timex advertising slogan.
Unfortunately the URD will be out of retired price range.

I do. Unfortunately, my last Timex, purchased sometime around 2012, kept on ticking for something like six months then stopped. No lickings delivered, it just stopped. I was quite disappointed.

Probably not. But then, the Schiit DACs don't either.
