I think the ones made by @Baldr for Theta Digital fall into that category. So, that's a point in Yggy's favor, no?
...but isn't the Yggy what Baldr wanted to make all along?

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is one of my favorites...

But my all time favorite is
Home Alone/Home Alone 2 by John Williams

The original scores are 2 CDs each, and hard to find. I have the regular soundtracks on LP, but they have some of the pop music mixed in with the best and most memorable bits of score. Still good, but the deluxe score is where its at.

We have a rule in our house that we can only watch xmas movies and listen to xmas music from Dec 1st through Dec 31st, so the anticipation makes it even more special.

soundtracks:
Empire of the Sun (movie)
Twin Peaks (tv series)

many others come to mind, but have already been mentioned by others.
Phantom on the Opera is sublime on a good system.
Twin Peaks, the music fit the bizarre-ness of the story line, action and characters. I can't think of another TV series score that had the creep-factor of this one. A number of good Sci-Fi ones but that's a different genre. Wonderful casting in large and cameo parts. David Duchovny as Dennis/Denise, also known for another popular, sometimes bizarre, TV series, "X-Files", Chris Isaac in the prequil "Fire Walk with Me", and a cameo as a SWAT Team member in "Silence of the Lambs". On and on. I like little Easter Eggs like that.

While not a big fan of musicals "South Pacific" is a favorite. "Bali Hai" is an ever present earworm. Along those lines the score to the TV series "Victory at Sea" is another favorite, "Under the Southern Cross" another one of those dam earworms. As a first wave baby-boomer whose father spent the entire war in the Pacific, I guess that's the tie-in.

These might be fighting words for some of the Lynch purists out there, but … the 2017 season was actually the best part about the whole Twin Peaks universe.
I believe that Season 3 is what Lynch had planned Twin Peaks to be all along if he had the budget and technical abilities back in the day.
