Hoping to get the group's opinions. What do you consider to be the reference recording of Vivaldi's Four Seasons? I "grew up" with the Telarc CD, how about you?

You forgot the part about droning on incessantly (and, no, this is not directed at you. I prefer the word "voluble" for you. )It almost appears as if audio were a field that's filled to the brim with overly opinionated and argumentative men. Luckily, we all know that ain't true!
I do them all!Do you generally listen to reviews about equipment you own, hope to own, or may not know?
My Vali’s a remarkably forgiving little toaster! I picked up a socket saver, converter, and a JJ tube from Tube Direct (a few years ago). I enjoyed my phallic wonder! When the novelty wore off, I replaced it with a smaller tube. If money’s tight, I’d recommend the Vali for your 1/2 doz. Cupboard valves. My 2 cents…Question:. Is val2++ or closeout Val2+ smarter purchase for conversion to 6SN7 duty? I read and (to the best of my ability) understand their motivation for the change, but I have 5 or 6 6sn7 variants sitting in a drawer, but just cannot swing to a Lyr at this point in life. And good reliable converter source would be much appreciated!
Or jaded....I read that as "one man's wife is another man's dreck"...!
Sorry, I must be tired...!
Ohm are nice.I do them all!
Equipment I own because sometimes I learn more about it, like a feature it had I didn't know about (or forgot about).
Hope to own because I love to window shop and I'm not made of $$
May not know because I love the quirky dusty corners of this hobby; mostly for speakers - like Manger, MBL, Ohm, etc.
I got the + on closeout strictly because I already have the adapters and plenty of 6sn7’s.Question:. Is val2++ or closeout Val2+ smarter purchase for conversion to 6SN7 duty? Yup, just an attempt at humor: comparing my battle with tinnitus to the world's battle with covid. I certainly didn't intend to give the impression your work has been misguided these past years.Since I'm obviously much less intelligent than you,....... can you explain your comment?
Your considerations go far above my limited brain powers.
Think it was generally taken that way!Yup, just an attempt at humor: comparing my battle with tinnitus to the world's battle with covid. I certainly didn't intend to give the impression your work has been misguided these past years.
But Dr Cozzi Tinin appeared unsure. Hopefully he's reassured now. Nothing but respect here for people who run toward danger, especially during times when nobody knows exactly what the danger is.Think it was generally taken that way!
while both versions will need an adapter from noval 9-pin to octal 6SN7, the Vali 2++ might be a better choice. higher future availability, plus the 6N3P pinout looks closer than Vali 2+ 6N1P to your target 6SN7. IOW fewer crossed wires within the adapter.Question:. Is val2++ or closeout Val2+ smarter purchase for conversion to 6SN7 duty?
