Incorrect. We prototyped one. Then came to our senses and decided not to do it.

I posted photos of it, sometime way back.
Breadboards don't actually count.

With so many complaining about rear mounted power switches it’s a wonder a Schiit Power Strip with master front power switch hasn’t been offered. 😉
All kinds of power strip products available on the market, including some calling themselves "audiophile" and selling for thousands of dollars! Go wild!

Or get a decent quality strip for about $30 from Furman or Belkin.

I, for one, am very happy with black Schiit and the silver knobs. Going back to the 80's I always thought the Mark Levinson and Counterpoint gear was the best looking around. Now I can live out that dream with my Schiit gear.

Breadboards don't actually count.
It wasn't a breadboard--it was a complete PCB--actually, three rounds of complete PCBs that went through development and iteration. 6SL7/6SN7 based. DC in, DC out. Not super different than a lot of stuff Broskie has talked about, but with a nifty DC servo implementation. It would have had to be 6 tubes for production to get decent bandwidth.

We decided it was too much of a distraction--and, with +/-500V rails, before regulation, probably something we didn't want to deal with, and, with 6 tubes, probably not at the 3-figure price point we wanted to hit. And, today, with tube availability, yeah, looking even worse as a plan. Hence, dead. And not coming back.

It's an important thing to realize that the world doesn't need us to do yet-another-one-of-the-sameish-thing.

I don't recall you posting Xap.

I posted it somewhere, I think in a chapter on bad ideas. Or maybe just a post.
It was definitely recalled in the failures but no accompanying pics, tease.

Sad to see, would love the Revival of the Xap project.

Nonetheless I can understand your reasons not to do it, but what customer would I be, if I didn't express my wishes...
I'd also support a Xap revival.

Estat amp world has been murky for me and I feel like everything is overpriced for what it is. It's ultimately kept me at arms length from Estats (I have the Koss x Massdrop collab, which is decent! and the base Stax energizer with the excellent SR-404LEs, but have never done more than dip my toe because of lack of comfort with the amp market).

Funny, it’s the opposite for me.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯I guess you can never do right by everyone.

I prefer the FV switch, it's easier to find and I've had the fancy one fail on a Vali of the old sort after being in storage badly. Also I like the fact it's easy to find, for a headphone amplifier that is less likely to be used on a switch I like the change.

Jason, I REALLY love your posts. So much wisdom in them!! I have a LOT of respect to your business decisions.
So many times management in companies I worked for, decided to do just that (introduce yet-another-one-of-the-same-thing product) and 2 years later... endless post mortem discussions on "why have we failed to generate profits from this product?"... 🤦‍♂️
