Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I prefer the moniker my wife uses for me -- Mr. Tripod.

I suspect that it is related to my other hobby, photography, but I can't be 100% sure. :smirk:
She may have named you after a circus monkey named Tripod that Tom Waits mentioned in one of his monologues.

Your Majesty...! Give us a second or two, and I'm sure we can suggest a suitable last name, if you wish...? 🤔

Though, I am surprised that you didn't want to be known as a Sith Lord...? 😉
I suppose that I could choose a name based on occupation, like Paul Bearer for an undertaker, or Mort Gage for a banker.

Doubtful. If it wasn't performed by George Strait or Tone Loc, then she's never heard of it.

I believe someone mentioned their wish for things to return to 'normal'? A referral to BBQ & cats. Close enough...? 😄

Please PM me your street address so I know where to reclaim my cat from.

Gotta give props where due. Eaten there and I agree. It is an excellent choice outside of the BBQ realm.
"Outside the BBQ realm"? Huh?

I'm really glad my brother and nephew convinced me to see them the last time they were here... I've always enjoyed a lot of their music, but seeing them live was something else.
Yeah, I even liked watching their roadies set up after the opening bands were done. The graphics they projected on their screens were always interesting, sometimes funny, too. The last concert I saw was a trip. Rush would play something from Signals or earlier and half the audience would get up and go to the bathroom. Then they'd play something from Counterparts or later and the the other half would leave, I think to have a joint judging by the change in ambient odor when they came back. It was funny watching how the different generations of Rush fans reacted to different eras in the band's catalog.

I stayed put for the whole two hours, plus encores.

René is a male name, Renee is a female name. In Europe that is.
One also sees Renée but only when people have no clue how to use accents in language.
Writing this I realize that your sister might be your brother now.
The only Renée I knew in school spelled it that way. If she hadn't, I'm sure she would have been called Rennie by all us fourth graders. We all had a terrible time with Yvette.

Poor cat is gonna have grease marks all over his white fur now. Seems a good reason to never leave a barbie open when you aren't using it.
Maybe the cat likes BBQ residue and is looking forward to a bit of post-lounging grooming.

I can only assume the poor asthmatic monkey had an attack and didn't have his inhaler. So sad. ☹️
