What I'm hearing is that my cryo-treated spin-aligned solid mono-crystalline sliver fuse might not be the best sound.
That seems accurate.

Audio Fuse Deficiency Syndrome. Yet another great reason for buying a Lokius. 😏

Lol, I was talking about a couple meters of silver wire in a headphone cable. I will reserve my thoughts on fuses till after 3/19.🤪

Some might prefer a silver cable. Mr Cowen had me use silver wire inside his amp as I recall. If he adds a silver headphone cable he will have introduced a lot of it into the signal path. My hunch is he could hear a difference with his bat ears.😉

Which turntable do you have?
b&o 2000, I have the connector but the rca plug is loose on one channel. I was thinking it'd be nice to have a din option on phono stages from time to time. I can just replace it but I figured it's worth a shot. If only because it might sound better eliminating the extra mechanical connection from the 80s cheap-as tech?

I had a post all planned, but then:

So:

@bcowen's turn...

No, not on me. That wouldn't be dignified.

A little googling and I found a pic of BC...the Flip Flops complete the ensemble! :wink:

That was Neotech 99% silver/1% gold wire. You must think I'm really cheap or something.

No need to answer that. 🤣

Glad you liked Sun Ra. A character we don't seem to to see the likes of these days...
Dr. Dememto put out several compilations CD, and I have them all. Love the music,

Listening to the Dr Demento top ten show was a Sunday night ritual growing up.

We used to master lot's of weekly radio shows at Nimbus. MTV, Country Countdown, Kasey Kasem, Star Date, and Dr Demento. It was always fun to hear Dr Demento as the DAT transferred. Crazy stuff. :upside_down:
