It is a risk. I try to buy just after Jason announces a new version. But that is not always convenient.

I think with the originally announced and subsequently delayed end of life for Mimby, we all hope that there will be a multibit entry-level DAC that sits below Bifrost's price point in the Schiit line-up. There has been no indication either way, but we remain hopeful - whether it be in the Modi or Modius form factor.
