ROFL!Got Tryptophan? Happy Turkey Day all!
Where you and I live, no problem with that…..Nah, the tubes need moving air for proper cooling.
I do like the Asgard 2 with my Beyerdynamic DT177X Pro.Rediscovering how well the Asgard 2 likes the Beyerdynamic DT 880 600ohm.
Working well with some live rock recordings.
LOL! Black Friday is sooooooo 2000's. Since Cyber Monday came along I can gluttonize from my comfy chair and do all my Christmas shopping in less than an hour.I love that Black Friday immediately follows Thanksgiving. It's like, "Enough with this whole 'be grateful for what you have' BS. So exhausting! To compensate, let's see if we can't cram a year's worth of gluttony into a single day."
It takes a month's training to learn how to smoke brisket?

It's kind of like finding the perfect audio system. It takes a while to get it right and as soon as you do, your tastes change and you have to start over. That is all complicated by someone introducing you to "tubes" which creates a whole 'nother rabbit hole.Actually it takes longer than that to get really good at it.
Tubes are not for everyone, there is certainly a learning curve and it can take a lot of listening in the right amps before you pick out the nuances. I am to a point where I know exactly which tubes I want to buy and which years of said tubes. This can happen with wine, or cars or houses. Eventually you just know what is right for you but it can take some time and money to get there. It can be a journey and there is a lot of fun to be had along the way. Friends sharing similar interests, hearing an old recording you are very used to suddenly coming to life etc. . It is just part of the audio experience you can either take part in, or ignore. It's kind of like finding the perfect audio system. Except in NC, where fully cooked isn't a prerequisite...
They say "Getting there is part of the journey or half the fun! lol that's what happens when I post tired and/or buzzed. Also, my first several briskets were somewhere below average. So yes, it takes awhile to learn how to get it right. Totally worth the effort, tho.It takes a month's training to learn how to smoke brisket?
