I think Bombay Sapphire is the best gin ever made, and another interesting product is Hendrick's Gin that has added flavours of Bulgarian Rose and cucumber.
Very un-gin-like gin :)

BTW, @wink has been spotted over in the Member's Lounge playing word games.

And ... any person who stocks Col. ET Taylor and Angel's Envy bourbons is my friend!
Yes on Saphire and yes on Hendricks’s. The Fleur de Lis cocktail from New Orleans is my favorite. https://hotelmonteleone.com/blog/learn-to-make-the-carousel-bars-fleur-de-lis-cocktail-at-home/

I bought some Schweppes Indian Tonic Water to see if my opinion of G&T had changed, but it hadn't :disappointed:

I was in that position a few years back until I tried a small batch local gin here in Melbourne (Four Pillars) along with Fever Tree tonic. Completely changed my thoughts on G&T :smile_phones:

Excellent!! Thanks for posting that I definitely lean toward the rich flavors and smokey regions.
I'm more of a beer and wine guy (and gin), but a friend introduced by to Balenvie Double Wood 12 yr.

The 12 year old is great, the 21 year old I save for special occasions. I like beer and wine as well.

Occasionally Camus cognac for me, a Russian card partner introduced me to that at a tournament in Canada. Some things are meant to be savored and appreciated.

I use the ifi tubes.
They don't sell them anymore but after lots of trials these are the ones that fit my ears best.
Be aware however that I don't know anything at all about valves/tubes.

Eeeeeek! Those are GE’s. There are lots of 5670’s (or 2C51’s or 396A’s) that sound WAY better. Just a few brands off the top of my head: all of them. .

Since the topic is still drinks, here's my favorite Bloody Mary. An adaptable drink.
Good any time of day, either with eggs for breakfast or with a Jamaican spliff in the afternoon.

Ketel One Citron 2oz + ZingZang bloody mary mix + celery salt + jalapeno-stuffed olives (4).
Sea salt + black pepper + Tabasco to taste.
Mix or shake well .... on ice :)

Cheers!
