In the past I did some before / after and side by side comparisons of homemade ac power cables using 3 different metals for the connectors (copper, gold, rhodium).
I made 2 of each and had one of each cryo'd.
This gave me a chance to compare the same metal connectors using the same copper wire used for all 6 cables between cryo'd cables and non cryo'd ones.
Every time I compared these cables and in every single case since then the cryo'd cables were superior in detail, bass, inner detail etc.
The differences were obvious and immediate.
And an additional process I have found that also significantly increases those SQ attributes I look for is cable cooking.
I use The Cable Cooker
https://www.thecablecooker.com/
Its an industrial strength device that is very effective.
It is rather expensive (≈1K$) but the results are most impressive, and this process compliments cables that have been cryo'd very well.
At this point both process are part of my 'standard' setup for any cable I use.
