Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I've just gone to page one of this thread, to look up a chapter from Jason's book. I click on the name of the chapter I want to read, and I'm taken to the relevant page, but no sign of the chapter. All other posts look to be there. I've tried a few different chapters, including the latest, and nothing. No sign of them. Is it just me?
The website update broke some links. Copy and paste the entire chapter title (such as "Chapter 18: The Pinch-Off Problem") into the Search, and it will find it..

If you look at the URL of the link, you can see that it is linking to the wrong page:

Ha, looks like I'll be doing some re-linking. Not a big deal. I intend to have another chapter up this week, so I should be able to do the re-linking at the same time.

Sorry to inform you that Moon Audio beat you in the rush to market with the affordable monblocks.
Their new 888 monoblocks go for only $125.
Oh wait....what????
Yeah, lost three zeros by looking at the bottom noise again eh?
There's a setting that lets your computer talk to you.
Even the numbers you cannot pronounce yet.
But you're right. It's almost cheap.

"Even if the quality of the music signal is very poor, it should not be altered to disguise that. These amps are ruthlessly revealing of the source kit and the quality of the recording."

And that statement sums everything that is wrong with high end audio. Spend £125,000.00 and instantly make 90% of your music collection unlistenable. Fine, if you want an analytical tool, not so good if you just want to enjoy music.

"But it sounds so life-like with that 10 tracks boring jazz test CD, though!"

Of course, and it's important to remember that music is there to make the system sound good. Heaven forbid that some manufacturer might actually make gear that's designed to make the music enjoyable ..... :-D

Good news! Microsoft is FINALLY rolling out native USB Audio 2.0 drivers with its latest Creator's Update for Windows 10. I updated my systems manually but in a few weeks it is supposed to roll out to all Windows 10 users.
My DACs work fine with the new drivers.

Sure it will take like a decade until 90%+ of the users switch from their old Windows versions to Windows 10 and get the native drivers but hey, at least it finally began. :)

Along with the missing zeros, the amps are priced in British Pounds. Over USD200K if I am not mistaken.
