Is that how your mind broke?
My mind broke well before I got to that point, but coffee might have kicked the insanity into high gear. 🤪

I am half Puerto Rican (or fully depending on who is asking), and I have been drinking Espresso since age 7 (my grandmother used to make it for me)....... Actually on 2nd thought  maybe the coffee did break my mind. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Our local roasters still does 16oz for between $15 and $17. We go through 10 pounds about every 3.5 weeks, 2 people
My local place sells their house blend in 12 oz for $16 or 5 lb for $85. I buy the big bag and keep it in the basement freezer. As the only coffee drinker in the house, and usually making just one cup a day (occasionally two cups on a weekend), I go through the bag in maybe 2.5-3 months.

I thought Syan needs it as a precaution against listening to loud?
I really don't know how accurate they are but I don't look at the volume knob position when ajasting volume, I look at the VU meter.
And as it seems to work well for me.
If he asked how to measure dB for other reasons, then, yes, a VU meter perhaps would not be the best option. :)

Cheers!
I really think if you get used to a VU it could be a good indicator. 🤪 I try to look at all sides of a situation.

How odd! I'll try it again.

Thanks.

I went to the community forum and asked. An admin from Roon reached out and asked me for the link and I supplied that. Now you can search for PS Audio and find it (within live radio section). There may be a more efficient way of doing it, but I'm unaware. I sent a note to Paul @ PS Audio to make sure he didn't mind, and he thanked me, so I guess he doesn't have a problem with it.
I too cannot find it under either name...

@fidgeraldo My ass has been compared to the Mona Lisa. It's got a crooked yet enigmatic smile.

@AstronomerXI I'll buy one I think. Great advice.

@adydula I heard the D8000 pro at CanJam London last summer and it would be on my list if it weren't so expensive. Instead I'm hoping for the Hedd 2 GT which I really like. Hopefully that will my final headphones. I own way too many already.

Many thanks to @docBliny for sending me an extra Miles Davis album he purchased along with a Freddie Hubbard that was a total surprise!! I must hear these before thunder storms and tornado warnings begin today! My jazz record collection just improved greatly.🤪 IMG_9006.jpeg

Perhaps I could do a portrait then, it seems like it would be an easy one. 🤣

Final Audio has announced new dynamic headphones, DX6000, and new flagship IEMs, A10000.

Cheers!

Doubt that will be something I can afford. Didn't know you were a modern-day DaVinci.

Yea the are expensive, I got mine a few years back for closer to $3K which still is alot.
I had the OG Hedds here for some time. I enjoyed them as well but went on to other cans...looking for that perfection.

Still haven't completely found it!!
LOL!

I am listening to Miles Davis as I sip 116 proof fine bourbon. I will not talk about the turntable or cartridge but I am running Telefunken tubes in the Stjarna, clear top RCA’s feeding KT90 power tubes into my speaker sets and I am happy. The record quality is sublime.🤪

Oh and once finger tabs arrive I will also send a wooden headshell to @Ripper2860.
Trying olive wood soon.IMG_9007.jpeg

Well, besides not being a fan of Art Blakey (or any hard bop), another Wednesday without VH3 is not a happy day.
:slight_frown: :sob:
Oh man, the harder that bop, the better that bop! 😁
