I will talk about drink, this is Jameson’s Ginger and Lime. They make other types but this one disappears from the liquor store and grocery store shelves at a rapid rate and is a fine refreshing cocktail that is not too sweet.

A shame. I think Kraken is/was a tremendous value.
But at any given point in time, the upgrade/replacement demand for 5-channel amps is probably relatively small. And many people are likely to instinctively just go on the "Mo Power Is Mo Better" path.
As "somebody" (!!!) said here recently, Rule #1 is don't make things people don't buy.
No doubt Schiit will continue to introduce products that surprise & delight.
Hey this is handy No glass needed just straight down the gullet, aluminum can flavor and all. Try some, and Ginger is good for you, maybe even Mary Ann.

Got spouse approval to upgrade the sub today on a Black Friday deal, and while I normally shy from the crass consumerism of these things, I clicked fast in case there was a change of heart.
Bout to find out if there really is no replacement for displacement and really can’t wait. My little Velodyne mini is really musical and I do love it, but the recent relocation created some space to bring on a 12” woofer deal that’s supposed to dig down to 20hz (+/- 3db). Already arranging some test tracks into a playlist for when it shows up next week.
Trader Joe's carry them and you get the Warburton's one at Costco from time to time. Have some at home right now in fact. Great with butter and Marmite. If you like Marmite....
I was wondering if I could get some opinions off of some of you.
I currently have a min stack of Modi 2U and Vali 2, around 8 years old at this point. This is used to drive a pair of Sennheisser HD6XX and a preamp into a Dennon all in on amp/tuner/cd player to Elac Debut speakers.
First up, I've been getting some hum from the Vali occasionally. It's quite loud and is fixed by me wiglling the Tube until it stops. No one has been in the room with it since it was last used, so not sure how it got loose, or is it on the way out?
Second up, I'm thinking of replacing with a one box solution, just not sure exactly what to do with the new Magni Unity out now, as that is one option, but then there is also the Asgard and Jotunheim above that, which also then gives me the option of the Multibit card to try that out.
There's even the new Gunnr that looks interesting, as the laptop that drives this rig is also used to play games on, but would rather have the better music experience, as I spend far longer each day listening to music than I do playing games, so if too much of a compromise, that option is out.
So I am after opinions from people, especially anyone who uses any of the above equipment and can offer sensible advice. Specifically if it is really worth going all the way up to a Jotunheim, bearing in mind the relatively modest equipment it's driving. If I did get it, I would also look to get a balanced cable for my headphones, but it would still be signle ended into the amp, as that all it has as inputs.
Hopefully some of you knowledgeable people can help.
Aegir 2 F's gain in mono block configuration is 2x that of it in stereo.
Nearly 2x the headroom, too, so that you can actually make use of that extra gain.
But is that actually louder?
Depends on so many things.
Jason did a chapter a while back, when Rekkr and G.Horn were released. If your speakers are 90db/w, and you already find 85db loud, then 85db is still the same with two (or ten) amps, but as @ArmchairPhilosopher points out, you have more headroom - so the peaks could go moar louder without hitting clipping.
