I'm seriously thinking of marketing Faraday cages to audiophiles for them to install at home and listen inside.

I can hear the complaints now: "My wi-fi won't work!! "

My next upgrade is to convert my listening room to an Anechoic chamber.

I've been in an AC; you will get the worst sound ever.

Well...maybe just the "Dead End" portion of the LEDE approach to audio reproduction...  :)  ...

Thank you, I agree...must establish that base line...regarding the socket savers though...?...good, or bad idea?

That's actually out of favor now.

well here`s some pictures of my new piece of schiit, love it! Sounds Fantastic, looks AWESOME!! This unit replaced a Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 1 that i had for 3 years, sounded much better, more space between the instruments , tone was killer, drums sound very good with this unit. do have a question which tube are the voltage gain and which ones are the buffer output. I have read the front pair was the voltage gain , i have also read that the right side was the voltage gain stage, so what the real deal here . thanks for your replies.

I believe that the right tubes are the voltage amps, the left are the cathode followers. Question---what is the thing that looks like a hockey puck to the left of the tubes?

If that's a Mpingo Disc I'm going to laugh my ass off.

Herb Reichert will be writing about the Yggy in the next Stereophile.

Appears he would be happy living with a Yggy, Rag, LS50 system until the end of days (but it's his job to listen to other stuff), he's had that system for almost a year now.
