That’s JUST the arm, they don’t have the part. I contacted them over a year ago… Maybe they’ve changed, but ALL their parts still seem to be 3009 related. (Parenthetically, I’ve not noticed their website change or update in ages…)

What I may do is just wait til my next trip over to the UK and buy it there to save the VAT and import myself (just like I did w/ the arm waaaay back in 1990).
I just checked Audiomart to see if by chance there was one for sale. No luck, only a wanted ad. But then saw this:

Not suggesting you buy that, but rather that it might be worth an email to Soundsmith to see if they make anything that fits?

I am giving the GE5670 a second listen and loving it. My mini-rack is now completed and I allowed for a bit more airflow. A very simple design but it serves my purpose.
That's not a rack. It's a stand. 🤣

Looks very nice though! (just getting that out there before you get all punctilious about it 🤣)

I'll take the Pope's Priest as played by Russell Crowe

I do love the idea of adding surround to a preamp of my choice...

That concept was my first surround setup. A ¿Dolby? product or licencee. A three channel amp/processor to power the centre and rears, two channel RCA outputs to your existing stereo rig, and a single RCA out for sub. A bit fiddly to set relative volumes but it worked once dialed in.

That was good enough to get me hooked on surround sound for movies - even though I only had a 14" crt tv. One day I borrowed a rollup screen and projector from a local arts show (I say borrowed, I was one of the few people involved with a car (artists dontcha know...) so I volunteered to return it) and boom! That was it. Even at SD resolution with a worn out bulb the combo of big screen and big sound was addictive.

I wish I could remember the name of the product, but I am going to say this: a receiver (or pre/pro) is a much better solution. A Syn+Kraken will provide a more uniform sonic signature than trying to McGuyver a three channel processor onto a two channel setup. Tonal imbalances and mismatches are inevitable with a setup like that - non-optimal.

You must have spent your day looking up words in a dictionary. 😂 You should have been listening to a GE tube instead. It is my build, I will call it whatever I want jerk face.😸😸

Ok some good news for @adydula, the Amperex Bugle Boy I took a chance on tests stronger and better balanced than the one I sent him to try. My 12AU7 to 5670 adapter arrived. Sound stage is as good as it gets, I love this tube.😁
Hopefully he likes it as well. More listening is needed before I ship.

I might have that same keyboard sitting in a drawer somewhere...

I love this keyboard, I have been through many but I have had that one for five years or so and I use it a lot.🤪

I will try it. Dang it! Streaming! What do you use? I don't have Apple

If you have Amazon Prime try that. Amazon Music app works, but you miss some features unless you pay for Plus. However, you can generally find and stream single songs for "free" on the basic plan.

We had this little guy on Saturday. After being tracked down by my wife an I, he ambled back to the local retention pond.
Looks like a softshell. Nice clean looking one too.

As should I, late. Down in Florida now, just out of the pool. Heat we won't get in Southeastern CT until July. Bringing my wife's mom back for the summer. Interesting that you're a Murakami fan. I wish you lived in Connecticut, I think you'd be a great addition to our biweekly Beer Club for Men 😀😀**

I was going to say nice use of the diphthong in encyclopaedia but then I would have to explain that word and I don't want to ...
