More listening with the Vali 3 today. Something that really impressed me yesterday was how some of my 12AU7s and 6SN7s gave a channel separation that greatly rivaled single triode tubes. Many did not but every now and then.

There are places where I might use an equalizer but this is not the time and place for me. I want to hear what a tube does without shaping the sound. Just a streamer to Vali 3 and headphones.

Probably last chance to hear (arguably) the best progressive rock guitarist of all time… Having been to the Animals, WYWH, The Wall, Division Bell concerts in the past, I know it’ll be epic. Be cool if other Schiitheads were also and we could meet for grub/drinks before perhaps. (I’ll be driving down from NH/MA)

I was with friends land speed record racing at Bonneville one year a while ago. I was the photographer for the team and when I realized that bikes ran with fairings or 'naked' I suggested that the beauty shot of the bike and rider were both naked (they set the 650cc record in both that year). It resulted in an amazing portrait. A strategically placed helmet on the saddle meant that it was both amazing and (reasonably) proper.
