Which is the better dac (not considering price)? Schiit Bifrost or Gamma2 (MisterX build)?
 
Using it with desktop computer mostly, schiit valhalla and DT880 600 ohm
 
Currently don't have a dedicated dac.
 
Any other dac recommendations in this general price range?
 
My computer has optical audio out so usb really isn't necessary

If you already have the Schiit Valhalla, the chances are your going to have great synergy with the Bifrost. I have the Bifrost and I think its engaging, has nice dynamics and overall is a nice and neutralish DAC but is a little on the warmer side of neutral.
