Is there a way to use the output from a Schiit Bifrost which has only one RCA output into both a headphone amp and integrated/pre-amp for home stereo?
 
I'm contemplating various set-ups like Bifrost -> Preamp -> Head Amp + Stereo or Bifrost -> Y splitter -> Preamp + Head Amp, etc.
 
With no attenuator, the Bifrost would require a preamp to be usable in a home stereo but are there preamplifiers that can take a single input and send it to two outputs at the same time [Headphone + Stereo in this case]? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

did you ever solve this?  i'm wondering about using y-splitters from bitfrost to powered speakers / valhalla.

Well I contacted Jason of Schiit directly and he assured me that it would work, though not sure if it would be okay to run them simultaneously. Be warned that the powered speakers should have a volume control. With that it will wok admirably.
