Enjoying Gungnir 2 with MJ3 combination. And they look nice stacked up as well. I did get forkbeard at time figuring why not... sounds like I can do OTA upgrade on firmware through this later too. Nice.

What hp do you use with this stack? What about bass? Can it go low and be strong?

On the G 2, some feel it doesn't have enough bass. It's very accurate. It doesn't add any, but when its there, no problem. Layers very well and has excellent timbre.

Not a bass head but I feel it has very solid tight bass. I use it with HE 1000SE. Noire X. Hedd 2 GT. None of them feels lacking with it.

You're just starting to get used to the new Schiit sound signature. They moved away from the Moffat fat bass with the tight and deep bass with the MIB and G2.

Disliked the Yggy A2 and did from minute one. Don't know the MIB well, but the G 2 beats all the others and that was clear within a handful of hours.

I've been against 'bass cannons' and other amusical bass since 1966, when my father got a pair of Quad ESL's, and I continued that starting in '74 when I got my first set. I even use dynamat on my cans and speaker stands to cut down amusical bass vibrations. I also altered/designed audio rooms featuring clean bass (non parallel walls and ASC traps) for decades.

The pEQ applies to both channels.

iOS only for now, Android is in the works.
Desktop or browser-based control won't be supported for the time being.

Thanks for the reply! Fwiw, I'd love to see independent left/right PEQ down the road, if that's possible.

This happened to me and they replaced it immediately and the new one works just fine.

As far as a separate R & L PEQ it will likely mean half the bands or even 1/2-N.

Forked my Gungnir 2. Took a bit of time to figure out how to get the app to find it after initial install (plug and play basically). Ended up having to unplug and replug the module, then restarting the app. Works now.

Only forked component I have is the Gungnir 2. Patiently waiting for the firmware update that adds features.

Still on the fence about Gungnir 2 or GS2. I keep thinking Multiform + Forkbeard + 382 beats the GS2 out...
