YesDo you have the 16 and 45 ohms?

I dont but I tried them both on my btr5 in unblanaced so they would be a slight bit better with a balanced cable. The 16s get a bit more volume out of it and it's probably loud enough for 75% of the people but it's not quite enough for me. The btr5 isn't terribly powerful either so take that for what it's worth.Do you use it with portable devices?
Not completely true. I paid vie wire transfer to bank account. He only accepts Wise. I just connected to my Apple pay account and paid with one of my credit cards.
Yes the dx300 is more then enough as far as a portable player, the wait wasn't bad for me but I got mine before the Russian fascist invaded Ukraine, if you prefer a bassier headphone then the 16ohm will satisfy.Just a couple of questions for owners. Was the wait terrible? How did you pay? Was the 16 ohms adequate? Or is it better to go with 45ohms? Im leaning towards the 16 as I prefer a bit more bass. I’m planning on using one…maybe…with a dx300. I’m thinking of the open/closed combo. Thanks all.
If my Dx200 pushes 1 watt into 32ohms, I am pretty sure your dx300 can too.......But that is a lot less power than what is recommended by Sasha. He says 1W to 16ohm version and 1.5-2W to 45ohm version
Did you get the 16 ohm? What was your wait time?If my Dx200 pushes 1 watt into 32ohms, I am pretty sure your dx300 can too.......
And they sound great with just one watt.
Sounded good through my dx120's balanced out too (400mw at 32ohms)
I listen fairly loud but still rarely go above 130 steps out of 150 on high gain
I thought sash said it was from 200mw to 1 watt for the 16ohm version (not that it needs a watt, but can take it)
@moorashj I misread your post. I went with the 4.4mm balanced connector on the included cable. I'm using the Tres with my Kimber Axios with a 4 pin XLR though. Great combo.I may pay the same way. What type of connector did you go with?
Well, I ordered mine yesterday. I went with the 4.4 balanced. I have to admit i was/am a bit nervous ordering this from Ukraine. Not so much from the maker of the phones, but more of it getting lost in shipping. I ordered mine so I could do open and closed ended. I figured it would be best to have both worlds. I am curious to see how long it takes from order to getting it in my greedy little hands LOL.@moorashj I misread your post. I went with the 4.4mm balanced connector on the included cable. Logistics in Ukraine works better than in my country Finland.Well, I ordered mine yesterday. I went with the 4.4 balanced. I have to admit i was/am a bit nervous ordering this from Ukraine. But is there any fr graph out there?Anyone know a headphone that graphs similar to the 45 ohm Tres?
