Wow! Now that's the way to do a meet. Que buenas photos, mis amigos de Espana!

I really wish I could have been there. It's been exactly 20 years since I was in Spain. Spent 3 months there mostly in Madrid and Torremolinos.

Maybe we'll be able to do an international meet there someday and I'll have no choice but to go.

Those pics make me want to spit on my HD 595s! Who's going to pay for the psychological damage,uh? Who?

Qué envidia me dáis! A ver si puedo acercarme al próximo encuentro...Por cierto, alguien me podría dar direcciones de buenas tiendas de sonido en Madrid?
Gracias por adelantado...

Great gear and great pictures. However I was very concerned that as I saw pic after pic I saw no VINO. Thank God you all finally showed and talked about VINO. No meet is complete unless you have some, and the restaurant pictures were fantastic. What a great place to go for some relaxing time. Gracias.

Glad to see our Spanish friends know how to enjoy all of these very important aspects of life. Great pics! Looks like a great time.

Yes, the meet was a blast. We had a great time. And you know that in Spain we take lunch very seriously, so we stopped the meet for three hours for an excellent meal in Restaurante Ana. It was great to rest our ears and contributed to balance the day better
smily_headphones1.gif
.

I want to say that we will publish more impressions in spanish in Auriculares mail list. We will try to do the same here, but you know, is difficult to be spontaneus in a foreign language
smily_headphones1.gif
. Most attendees do not speak (or write) english well enough.

rlanger, you must return to Spain, it has changed a lot since your last stay
smily_headphones1.gif
. And you really need to visit the north, very different from mediterranean Spain.

Chrysoberyl, if you are looking for headphones in general I do not know of any good store in Madrid. Studio 22 is the spanish Grado distributor in Spain and they have the complete line for auditioning. You may find good enough prices of other brands in calle Barquillo. Pero la mayoría de tiendas de alta fidelidad para audiófilos no suelen tratar el tema de los auriculares. Como mucho algún ampli de Musical Fidelity. And yes, you really must come to the next meeting, you will be welcome. It is worth it.

Vino? VINO? mrarroyo, I can assure you that I had enough wine
biggrin.gif
biggrin.gif
. This is the reason why there are no photos of our wine. I was busy drinking it
smily_headphones1.gif
. It was a delicious Rioja recommended by Manolo. I cannot remember its name... Viñas Viejas? Cepas Viejas? Sea como sea, intentamos no abusar demasiado para no quedarnos dormidos por la tarde
biggrin.gif
.

And, of course, we would be pleased to meet you in the next meet, mrarroyo. I will personally choose some great spanish wines (or should I say vinos?) for you. Do you prefer Rioja/Ribera del Duero/Rías Baixas/Ribeiro/Bierzo/Somontano/Toro/etc.?
