Audio

Sounds coming in clear

Audio enthusiasts rejoice: you can hear the music as it's meant to be heard because Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature high-quality 32-bit PCM and DSD64/128 playback support. Plus, the included new earphones not only offer pure sound by AKG, they fit better and your ears stay comfortable as you rock out.

*DSD64 and DSD128 playback can be limited depending on the file format.

Samsung usually throws in a fun Wolfson/Cirrus Logic dac on their exynos variants of the S series.  However in personal experience I still prefer to hook a mini amp to it since the amp is a bit underwhelming

They recently bought out Harman (JBL, h/k, AKG, etc) so they might contract them to do something different this year, the last Samsung phone I used was the Note 5 and while the DAC was great, it lacked the power that I used to have with the HTC phones.  So probably yes, unless someone already has experience with the S8/S8+ I think the amp would be pretty similar to that of the S7/S7E.

Even apple doesn't mention their CL integration in their phones. Neither they did to the adapter that came with iPhone 7. So far, the only brands that mention audiophile grade internals are the chinese smartphone makers. Not to mention that Apple iPhones are assembled in China!

Let us hope something is there at least.
