Samsung S10

I've owned it for several years and have tried my previous S7 and current S10 but it either won't show or connect. Have you done any bluetooth tweaks in developer options ?
Ironic the ZX507 doesn't connect.
Someone just asked on the Walkman thread.
No, it just worked once I paired. Never paired with ZX507.

Alright, so take these results with a massive pile of salt. I have no idea if this is a valid measurement, but it's the best I can do with the materials on hand.

Instead of a resistor, I used something with a known impedance: My DT 770 250 Ohms. I plugged a double-sided 3.5mm male into my S10 and measured the voltage of a 60 Hz sine wave until it held a consistent 0.5436V.

Next, I put the extension cable's plug and the DT 770's plug side by side and laid the multimeter probes across each of them so they're contacting both. I kept measuring until it held a consistent 0.5398V.

Using these two voltages, the output impedance of my S10 (SD855, not Exynos) can be calculated to be 1.76 Ohms.

Unfortunately, I don't have an S10e.
I have Samsung S10+ Exynos. If paired with Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro, will it be a good combination? Purchasing a DAC is not possible for me right now. Also if I prefer to listen to music at not super loud volumes, will the 250ohm work for me?
I know there are 32 and 80 variations available too. But 250 caught my eye. In future I might even buy a DAC. But not right now. I request your assistance. Thanks you.

Yes, this should work very well.
I´m using the weaker S10 Exynos with different headphones (Sennheiser HD650, Fostex t50rp ...) without any problems.
Level 12/15 is enough for my taste in the most cases.
Thanks a lot! I was confused for several days between the 80 and 250. But this detailed and dedicated thread helped me a lot. O am truly grateful guys.

Hello guys! I'm new here. I recently bought the UAPP. Can you please help me to make the most out of it? I saw in this thread, that I should turn off the EQ by reducing the last bit by one dB. That worked very well. Is there anything like that you'd like to suggest to a newbie? Thanks.

The HiRes files won't be decoded by UAPP without external DAC? If not then can you suggest a pocket freindly DAC? Thanks
Correct. Take a look into the thread usb c to 3.5 mm thread and find out.

I really liked the s10, most of the phones around that time had already removed the 3.5 jack, and as far as I see that's one of the most important feature of the phone!!

Btw just curious how is the battery life of your s10? if with both music playing and mobile data running, mine s10 wouldn't even last for half a day now...
