You have all heard of the italian singer Laura Pausini right?
I think most of you have, but if you've missed her, i have difficulties believeing there will ever be sader music than her songs. I really mean it.

Just try out:

Laura Pausini - Mi dispiace from the Le cose che vivi album
Just trust me on this!!! (I'd love to hear what you think about it)
This is on my top 3 best songs i ever heard in my life.
I listen to this only once every about 6 months, because i save it to special occasions.

I think i have around 8-10 different genres i listen to daily and some more in general and this song goes to the top.

Angels of Light
The Swans
Godspeed You! Black Emperor (mentioned in Webster's if you look for
the definition of 'sad')
Iron and Wine
Freakwater (beautiful, lilting 2 women harmony country that'll break your
fr**gin' heart)
Billie Holiday and Nina Simone (I usually prefer Nina but,...)
Leonard Cohen

good thread, this is some of my favorite music too.

Storms - by Stevie Nicks on 'Tusk'

"...So I try to say
Goodbye my friend
I'd like to leave with something warm
But never have I been a calm blue sea
I have always been a storm..."

Get the tissues ready.
