Has the weak point of the SA6 is its bass performance? Does it roll off well? Can anyone describe it?

im not too great with describing but i do find the bass on the SA6 rolled off. it isnt something really significant unless you listen to hip hop. trance and other bass heavy music seem to sound fine, just hip hop and sa6 dont match. the sa6 doesnt seem to hit a very hard bass, its punchy and has some depth. the lacking is the fullness or body, which a lot of hip hop has. i tried listening to ne-yo - single and the bass just sounded sort thuk thuk instead of THUMP THUMP/POP POP. the tempo also seems off. again, my findings of anemic bass is mainly in hip hop.

The x10 has a lot of quality bass, even more so when you use the double flanges. I've read a lot of comparisons that say the reviewer prefers the x10's bass, while the SA6 had better midrange and slightly better treble. I've never heard anything bad about the bass for the SA6, just that the images had better bass.
