What would be a decent way to run a turntable directly to an SR71? I'd like to listen to some of my vinyl, but I only have my old Aiwa turntable, and no receiver with phono jacks (and that third wire connection).

I would like to get the turntable signal to the SR71 (and to my headphones)with minimal fuss, but I fear I need some additional component? I miss my records...it's been 17 years since I've listened to them....thanks.

Yeah, you will definitely need a phono specific pre-amp. Turntables have a rather high impedance, something like 100K IIRC, but I may be way off. Anyway, they need a phono pre-amp.
You might consider buying a vintage receiver that has one built in or just try to find the pre-amp by itself.
