Rumor: New Sennheiser Flagship to be surfaced ........ soon

so is there still a new sennheiser flagship coming out at the end of this year? or is another brand?

Sennheiser is releasing a closed-back high end flagship between $1499-$1999, in october.
Another unnamed firm, but my guess is one of these three (Sony, Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica), is releasing a small-size headphone, or perhaps even a large IEM, which may finally rival our large open back headphones in sound quality and stage, due to a new technology or new design, from what nomax is hinting at.

All good sounding Headphones in the higher Price range(over 1.000 Euro) are very Large and Chunky

We are in 2015!!

its time for a new direction and it will come later at the end of this year

Nomax

Sorry, but there is something I do not understand, what about CIEMs? there is no one that sounds "good" or all of them that sound good are chunky?

Nomax, have you listened to this new technology ?

I think that much is a given, given his raving about it being such a revolutionary game changer.
After his hinting at it not being a typical full-sized, open-back headphone, I'm honestly more excited at this point for the closed-back HD800 successor.

A closed back flagship makes sense but I hope they update the open back hd800 too. You would think after 6 years on the market there has been enough advances in technology to update the design.
