Rudistor RP010B... A beautiful piece of audio engineering!!

Let me tell you pfillion, if you can afford upgrading to the RP010B do it.
I have the RPX-33 MkII also and it is a great amplifier but the RP010B does the samethings even better and in bigger scale.

I am serious, I am re-discovering old recodings like if they were new. The level of detail, soundstaging and musicallity of this amp is the best I have ever heard.

Sure I would love to try the RP1000 but I think there are just 4 built and 1 is with Rudi at least but the main problem is that I know I would love it and there is no way I would be able to afford it unless I sale one of my Hi-Fi equipments....

Does anybody have any idea how much the RP1000 is??? I am not sure I want to know!!!

would like to hear this one too.

I absolutely love my RP010B. Big, rich, liquid, tubey tone with lots of body, fast response, powerful dynamics, jet black background, huge soundstage, ultra-fine resolution of every musical molecule, what more could you want?

I have received my RPX-33 last week and to be honest with you, it's hard for me to imagine something better for now.

Maybe one day if the value of the Canadian dollar can increase.

Congrats Jose on your new, awesome toy.

Are you eventually going to balance your Ed9's? Good to hear you still like your amboyna Denons.

Cheers,

Lad

I am listening to my modded W5000 driven by an NX-03 at the moment, and while its no RP010, the NX-03 is so impressive I can't even begin to contemplate what improvement a step up to the RP010 would bring. Congrats!

Just a note to report that my RP010B MKII is still the best of solid states I have heard so far.

I am eagerly awaiting if the upcoming 3-channel HeadCode would be able to unseat the throne. Until then, I remain loyal to this current king

So you prefer it over the GSX? Have you compared it to a balanced beta22 as well.

Yes, I like the RP010BMKII more than the GSX, which I am actually considering letting go soon.

I have read a lot about Beta 22 but not sure if it is the amp for me, given my lack of DIY knowledge and servicing it. Hopefully one day I can hear one in person and may be I will jump...

I'm curious as to why you like the RP010BMKII better than the GSX. The latter is considered to be among the most transparent amps available. Personal preference aside, I wonder if the RudiStor isn't just adding a subtle degree of coloration that makes the source sound just a wee bit "better" than it is. Given that you prefer the Rudi over the GSX, I doubt you would like the Beta 22 either, since some have considered the GSX and B22 to share a very similar transparent-type sound signature.
