All of my editing options have disappeared and it won't let me access my settings to double check the format.
 
EDIT: Seems to be working now, but it's kinda been a hit or miss recently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

It has to due with Internet Explorer.  I am guessing you are not using Firefox?  Anytime I have issues like the ones you list here I switch to Firefox and see if that takes care of it.  Web developers are not always aware of cross browser issues until it is too late.

Which OS, browser and browser version are you using when experiencing this issue?  We'll need that information for testing to re-create the issue on our end.

Windows 7 and Firefox. Lately it's been doing pretty good, but every so often it just kinda stops working.

Please try clearing your cache and restarting your browser.  If the issue persists, please let me know.
