excellent offer! I still love the HD 598's midrange.   it is only bested by my DT 150. Though, 598's midrange still is one of the best midranges I have ever heard.
Also, if you are a midrange fan, you should check out the DT 150. It only costs 13k here but its sound is as good as the 650's if not a litlle better. I consider it a killer headphone deal.

Did you ever use 770 Pro?

where can I find beyerdynamic dt150 in india

PMed details to you. You will love DT-150. But you will badly need a decent amp under $200 to power it well. A very very satisfying headphone despite the size and look at under $200, if you can find a deal or bargain well. A keeper. It can be in the same league as any $400 headphone worthy of studio use like HD-650, if you can add an amplifier. A small tube amp can really make it sing which you can buy from AliExpress under $70.

Still better, if the use is portable and on-ear is fine with you, go for DT-1350 at about the same price. Tesla drivers. 80 ohm. Sounds like a baby DT-1770. No amp needed to make the most of it from your phone. $150, if you can bargain with them straight.

DT-150 is considered an upgrade over 770 Pro 32? Most dislike that design but I rather like it, much more practical ear cup design than rounded ones I think, unless one has rounded ears too :p

The new beyers are more treble-oriented except 1770 and 1990. But the oldies DT-150, DT-100 and DT-48 are not bass-shy and good on mids too. Just two broad different signatures. With a decent tube amp like Dark Voice or LA Figaro, DT-150 can feel like ToTL headphone with forward mids and quite detail-savvy with open-can-like soundstage. Timeless piece, many vouch for. A true German tank. All for $150!! Not to mention the detachable cable and detachable everything else.

Indeed, I can also vouch for the DT-150, I use it nearly everyday and had them for years now. Fantastic bass and a surprisingly neutral sound in my opinion. It is a great bargain for the price they normally sell for.

Damn it, the DT-150 seems like a classic one, and I love that shape. Anyway, do kindly tell where to get this one, available on Amazon for a ridiculous 34k, and not available anywhere else in any Indian online retails site, LOL.

Forget USA and India online prices. They cost €120 in Europe. They must not cost more than INR.15k in India as Germany has an India office here in Bangalore. Just call/email/walk into their office and negotiate a deal for a brand new one. It is one of the oldest models with constant demand from Film/TV industries. No love lost when you bargain. Pay in cash or online bank transfer. They deliver by courier in a week's time. Official warranty included. If you are into films and enjoy watching Kubrick's films, know that the great man was OBSESSED about using only this very DT-150 and DT-100 prior to that while he edited his films from his home-cum-studio estates in London and DT-48 while filming ( he edited almost all films he directed).

Contact Mr.Deexith and place the order:

deexith@beyerdynamic.com
Hand Phone:+91- 9008602441
Fixed Line :+91-80-23310101

And then, go order a decent and inexpensive amp like FiiO E12 or still better a tube amp like Dark Voice or La Figaro or Little Dot or Little Bear on AliExpress or Amazon or even better, a DAC/Amp like Chord Mojo and consider the audiophile journey begun on a high note.

And then post some pics. These are the Gladiators of studio headphones.

Actually, thanks to Brexit, importing from UK or even home Germany at about €120 isn't a bad idea even including a possible €30 in customs. Only if you can't get it ordered from beyerdynamic Bangalore office which is highly unlikely to refuse.

Tube amps are the best for mist beyerdynamic headphones. Indulge.

Kubrick saab with DT-48.

And this inexpensive tube amp for a budget below $50 on AliExpress or Rs.8k on amazon.in http://www.amazon.in/gp/aw/d/B014FASL1A/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1475026951&sr=8-16&pi=AC_SX118_SY170_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Nobsound just to make things crazy. Replace stock tubes with sweeter/neutral ones like "GE 6688 NOS tubes" at $3 each for an even more satisfying SQ.

Those who are interested in DT-150...
the not-so-recent official best price from beyerdynamic India for DT-150 is Rs.13,000/-.
Go for it, if you wish.
Here is the list of best prices for a couple of others too.
Makes a lot of sense to buy straight from beyerdynamic India office instead of fluctuating Amazon.

Criminally underrated as most audiophiles say...

And with a decent cable upgrade and/or tube amp chipping in and Brainwavz earpads, this can be a $200 ToTL headphone.

The only thing that is worth noting before you buy these headphones is that it is recommended you change the pads to aftermarket ones. As you can clearly see from some of the pictures presented here, some of the pads are different. The stock pads that come with the DT-150 tend to be prone to sweat after long hours of listening as well as the glue coming off after some months of daily use. That is the only drawback. I bought original Beyerdynamic velour pads as shown in the picture below, not that expensive and they are amazing. You can also purchase lamb-skin pads but they are much pricier, but look wonderful and are more comfortable. Once you get the new pads these headphones will outlast you!

Thank U for guiding Me
am just beginner in this audio related(audiophile) world so does those headphone dt150 really requires amp, if yes then which will be the good portable amp to pair with them. Using ibasso dx80 as a source

1. Solid state amp below $120: "FiiO E12 Montblanc" offers excellent power for a portable amp at such a price. Great build and quality and battery life.

2. FiiO E09K is desktop amp at $110 and also works as a dock for E17 Alpen DAC/Amp. Good combo. But check out the newer versions. $110+$120.

3. Oppo HA-2SE is again excellent DAC/Amp combo and enough to drive its 250ohms to decent level. $300. Great for IEMs too.

4. GeekOut DAC/Amp has a crazy amp section but works only when connected to USB port, I guess.

5. Audioquest Dragonfly Red is powerful enough too.

6. But the most satisfying bet can be a tube amp. Very musical and analogue. Many choices but I haven't tried them all. The cheapest "Nobsound 6J9" at $40 is a shocker. It can output 2W and is implemented well enough. Can be connected to speakers too. Mine is on order. Quite a few beyerdynamic 250ohm and 600ohm users love it. Even many power-hungry planar magnetic headphones are driven effortlessly by it. You can buy it from AliExpress at a mere $40 + customs or straight from Amazon.in via Carts2India for Rs.8,000.

Yep, totally agree. The velour pads designed for DT-100 can fit DT-150 too. Ideal replacement for stock pads in tropical countries.. DON Navyn can buy from beyerdynamic India for Rs.1500.
