Long time has passed since i posted here.
 
Anyways i ordered soundmagic hp200 for rs 15800,,,next in line is fiio e17k.
Will be getting the cans in 5-6 days at most so will share the impressions.
 
My first headphone of any type.

let us know your findings. must say you went for rather expensive hp as your first hp.

See i was thinking about something in 15k to 20k as an iem first.My initial choices were either dn 2000j or flc 8.
But as my vc1000 are working  fine so i decided to venture into something new.
 
I wanted a product that could at least surpass vc1000 hence the choice of something in this range.
I got hp150 delivered by mistake,now they are sending a replacement though i feel even 150 was a good choice as people are pretty happy with those cans.

I have a FIIO 17K alpen2, I am willing to sell. Let me know if anyone interested. Asking 8k with shipping. Price Negotiable.
 
Comes with all accessories, no signs of use or anything as new as ever. Bought it in a jiffy, now find no use of it.

So the hp200 arrived.
 
Initial impressions------Just smokes the vc1000 in clarity and bass quality,,,no match at all really.Pretty happy with my purchase.
 
The bass is not heavy based on listening with just x1,they appear to be colder and flat compared to vc1000 and the difference is readily apparent,,not to mention the open air feel due to design itself.
All in all i am glad i went for a headphone instead to another iem.

How about tenso? Never used one before but I have heard good stuff about them.
Ebay does ship to India but it mostly depends upon the seller so you might want to talk to him first. 90% of the times they'll agree provided you'll have to chose premium shipping services.

If it's from US well get ready to pay 48$ at minimum if you are looking delivery within a week else priority box but I don't trust that.

Just used this to get an e17k(2) for 8600,,,saved some 800 bucks.
