by the way Indian music industry seems to be non existent for all practical purposes. all we have is bollywood music which is pretty good but is ruined by stupid music videos. when I listen to any of their songs all I can remember is actors doing crazy sh!t. thats why I have stopped watching tv.

There have been only a few independent music artists from india,,,scene in pakistan is way different though.
Coke studio is awesome.

ya i got a disc, but like I said, jazz in english is simply not as engaging for me.
 
I would prefer if a top hindi artist like Neeti Mohan did an album.

to be fair, I was surprised to hear bollywood music out of quaity gear. it was better than expected.
 
i think after demise of pop music culture in India, all top artists are at mercy of bollywood. which simply does not do any justice to how good they are. the moment I see a music video, that song is completely destroyed for me after that.

finding those 1-2 is rather expensive undertaking. and its simply not worth it, so I have stopped watching completely.

On a different note, I couldn't find the Pink Floyd FLAC pre order I was talking about a few posts back, so I pre-ordered the itunes deluxe album. Hope the 220 Indian Rupees are worth it! If anyone does find a lossless download, do keep yours truly posted. Thanks & cheers

Ripping the cd's is way way costly for pink floyd.And torrents are just not good

any reliable way of getting music ? other than itunes since I just got an android that I dont plan to give up anytime soon.
 
at Indian prices (which are much lower than anywhere else)
 
pink floyd album at 220 is a bargain.
 
though I prefer getting physical copies but they are simply not available anymore for lot of albums.
