yeah..generally i say they are not the style i am looking for,but i liked some of the songs in "dummy".  when a melody is good than it's good.
I can't say exactly what i am looking for because i am not so good in describing music styles,but i will say that it is more into melodic,normal rock.  not grungy crazy stuff.
I like smashing pumpkins style,pj harvie,cranbarries.  you get the picture..
I also like heather nova...if you can give suggestion based on that style it will be great!

auf der maur sounds nice...just the style i am looking for,but so far i don't know if i like the songs.  i will give her some time.   by the way,I will try "hole" also, I think i heard them once and liked their stuff.
I also remembered in "the cardigans"...different style but also very good imo.
