Great stuff! Can the new RM3 remote work with the FiiO M11 Plus ESS? If so, do all functions work, or are there some limitations using it with M11 Plus ESS compared to the M17 or R7?

I'm shocked you have to buy this separately. It should come with the R7...I love Fiio products and own a few. But I don't think having to buy a separate remote is acceptable.

I saw a youtube video with somebody demonstrating how to use this, looks fantastic.
I noticed when he used the remote it made a clicking sound every time he performed an action on the keypad, can the clicking sound be muted to silent mode?

I have the RM3 and am using it to control my FiiO M11 Plus ESS on the FiiO stand in the bedroom, and it doesn't make any clicking sound when I press the keys. I love that it's Bluetooth and doesn't require to be pointed in any way at the device you're controlling.

BTW, I forgot to say that the FiiO RM3 remote is completely responsive with NONE of the delay, hesitation, and miscues plaguing IR remotes. You'll love it.

I have had the RM3 out of the box 5 minutes and it is absolutely awesome. That little "mouse" button is an absolute godsend when using Roon on the FiiO R7. Super quick and very intuitive. I cannot think of any remote that has floored me the way this one has over many years of using one with too many hifi, TV 's and satellite boxes to mention
