For me i don't mind longer content as long as they are informative and give more details about them so will help me to easier to imagine how the sound like based on comparison with others. Sometimes 1 IEM is so good but the bass is slow, while others maybe just a little bit less in technicalities but have better speed bettwr textured bass. I like more detailed reviews, particularly about sounds. Other than that, byild quality, accessories everything, picture tells thousand words.
yes, I believe that longer reviews isnt that big of a con lol. Then the question is, which way gives more information?

The first one with the comparisons as I have done it like this: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/fiio-fh3.24543/reviews#item-review-24105
For example with this section (vs LZ A6): "Sub-bass extension is lower, faster and tighter on the A6 while the FH3 rumbles and has more texture but quantity is a bit lower on the A6."

With the version 2.0 it would be something like:
Bass: Djuro – Drop that bass (01:15-01:30), the FH3 rumbles more has more texture and sounds more natural/correct as a result of that, while the A6 is cleaner since it is faster and tighter (even when extension is lower).

Having the song name and timestamp will enable you to listen to what I am listening to and make you understand what I am talking about more, I believe. (I am technically doing the same thing currently, just not writing it out like that lol)

yeah sorry forgot to mention that, the 2.0 is better with reference song so if we compare with 1 IEM that we have, we can have imagination about how your reviewed IEM sound like, on that track. Great job mate

Thanks, that will be my new template if there isnt any objection to it.

Can you tell us about the tuning? Is it a bass boosted SSR? Or something more different? The old Crescent looks pretty good on the graph.

More like a SSR with extra bass.

Is that 3k peak going to be there too? Or will it be reduced? That is probably the most worrying thing about the SSP for me.

Our engineering team are aware of that peak, I think they'll try handle it, but I don't have a graph for you guys right now, I apologise for that.

No problem, thanks for giving us more info.

Any guesses on the release date? And will the same colors for the SSR be available on the SSP too or will it have different color variations?

As I previously said, it depends on how our production of SSR will be back on track...
There will be another brushed black+gold screw version, but for other color options is TBA.

Yeah the 3 kHz peak put me off from getting the SSR. A few friends of mine who have the SSR also told me about that area being a bit harsh in certain songs.

But I would think that if SSP is bassier, it might possibly balance out the 3 kHz peak if it is left there. Cause the ears take the whole frequency spectrum in context? Well looking forward to the SSP.

Yeah i dont even dare to try them. Crinacle said Super Shouty Reference
+15db at 3khz pinna gain is the Spaceship sound from close distance. I'm sorry moondrop but that is double of my ideal pinna gain level.

I have a review unit of the Periodic Audio BE coming (should be here on monday), looking forward to see what the bass on a pure beryllium DD is like when just a coated one (Fiio FH3/Urbanfun ISS014) is already awesome.

My review unit of the Tingker TK200 is in Sweden somewhere too, but pretty sure I get the Periodic BE first lol.

Both of them are going to have a super tough time since the FH3 exists, doubt they will be better but who knows I might be surprised. :joy:

Should also get the rest of periodic audio line up , all excellent

Not likely, since I dislike bullet style iems and non-replaceable cables.

The Be has that "bait" called beryllium that got me lol.
