@RikudouGoku Hey what do you think of the TRI i3 pros compared to the sundaras? Just wanted to ask because I'm looking for the sundaras but in iem form with more bass (I eq my sundaras also) and am close to pulling the trigger on the i3 pros. Would appreciate it if you could do a quick comparison between the two (tonality and technicality wise) since IIRC you did say you bought the sundaras to compare to planar iems.

I did mention over here:

That the I3 Pro´s mids does sound like a planar, however, the Sundara is better.

But I do recommend that you wait until I get the 7hz Timeless, as that is a planar only iem.

Fortunately NOT a GK10 or a Tape Pro. But certainly not as good as some others have alluded to.

No changes with different cables either.

Changes might be more evident with better tips than a cable. Maybe old Starlines or a Deep Mount can make them more suitable to your target curve. Cable influencing sound is same astrologers saying planets affecting your fortunes. If you believe great but logically it's very difficult to digest such hogwashes.

Tips do make a difference but wont shift it dramatically like that lol.

I agree it won't be dramatic but still much more than anything else. Anyways it looks off from your target so not much chances of you liking them anyways

Well, just because an iem deviates from my target doesnt mean I wont like it. The target is only a target on what I would ideally want.

With a mesh modded Blon BL03 (but no alcohol pad in the nozzle), the treble is a tad too sparkly to my ears at times. Which one between Radius Deep Mount and Final Audio Type E would help tame the treble while also tightening up the bass or at least without lowering bass quantity?

Type E, definitely.
The Radius is basically like a wide-bore tip, which increases the treble (although not as sharp as wide-bore tips).

Although fit wise the Radius works a lot better on the 03 for me (fixed the fit issues I had with it).

Thank you, that helps a lot. I noticed my only remaining fit issue now (even with the small Spinfit CP100) is for my right ear, it takes a bit more effort to to do a proper seal and get the sound balanced. Could be a size issue so I'll look at my options.

Try a different size with your right ear then, some people have to use different size with different ears. (luckily not me lol.)

2021-09-12: CCA NRA review: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/cca-nra.25400/reviews#review-26770

Rank: C-

NRA being CCA/KZ´s first iem that utilizes something other than a DD/BA is actually not the utter disaster (nor the budget killer) I was imagining. But that is all it is, there are other iems in the same price range that are a lot better than it (03/DQ6) that I would recommend ahead of it. Which means I cannot recommend it, other than to sate your curiosity and being a paying alpha tester.
Since it’s under a month of its release and KZ has announced their version of the NRA already, being the ZEX.

Alright, regarding those EP01 they are the widest bore I have seen but makes everything warmer, penalizes clarity and overall technicalities.
In a nutshell. I dont like them lol.
