Cool man! I'll be interested to read a detailed review about the V100 and the G100. I hope soon to get the V200 in my studio to compare to the Phonitor.

Sounds like a plan...since you're official Violectric fan now, this will a great opportunity to check out the entire line.

G100 is discontinued and will be replaced by G109 middle of April.
This is also true for G93 which will be replaced by G103.

Fried, any info on what the output impedance for the G103 and G109 are? I can't seem to find it on the Lake People site. Thanks!

Fried mentioned the specs as being very similar to the Violectric line, all of which had less than 1 ohm output impedance. Low impedance on the output is a big deal for Fried so I'd guess that these new Lake People models continue that tradition.

It seems the V100 is under the shadow of V200 ; it is close pricing to a G109, but is built to the ' Violectric consumer product' standard.

I have to say I haven't really used the V100 since I got the V200. But I could have lived with the V100 for sure had I never heard its big brother

the output impedance from G103 is < 0,1 ohm, meaning a damping factor of 500 relative to a 50 ohms load.
