thanks for your attention.

I just changed the frequency 31hz, then 62hz on the set CUSTOM ... I see a low, weak amplification!

Then I went to the ACG preset and I went straight back to the CUSTOM set. And then a crunch has appeared on the percussions and sub-bass AND Noise whistlings, the rest of the sound behind this crack is really amplified a real "explosive sound". It would be a real pleasure to hear without this crack noise. I can not explain it, there is a loss of amplification...
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. We would report to our engineer about that and fix this issue in later firmware update. Sorry for bringing inconveninece to you.
Best regards

@Fergal There is not need to use big fonts or bold when explaining something, we are mostly quite used with the products here.

I think that FiiO should probably give us some advice, you're probably having a unit, or had units from a bad batch, this behavior is not normal.

I don't have any unit with me right now, but I don't remember having anything like this behavior from X3-3 when I tried it. I'm not sure if I engaged EQ.

Ok don't worry, for the bold caracter, it is not to attack you. ^^

Try the manipulation that I described above, you will hear. Because it does two devices from two different resellers, and i have the same problem. So Strange?

I have the X3-iii since 1 week and am very pleased with the sound quality and versatile usability.
The player should be able to play M3U files - however it does not.

The M3U files are shown in the "browse files" menu; the titles of the tracks (that the M3U refer to) are also shown, but are not played.
In the "category" menu, item "playlists", none of my M3U playlists are shown.

I have copied exactly the same folder tree of my music collection to my android phone, and there the M3U's work OK (e.g. HiByMusic app, which I believe originates from the same company that created the fiormware for Fiio).

Does anybody know a solution?

Thanks, Herman

Dear friend,

For creating external playlists, you could read:
http://fiio.me/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=40017&page=1&extra=#pid105482

The external playlists could only show from browse file instead of category.

Best regards

Thanks a lot!

Regarding the inline buttons in the headphone cord: these react a bit unpredictable. Sometimes pressing twice make it pause. Pressing 3x sometimes jumps forward, sometimes back. I haven't been able to discover a pattern, e.g. that pressing quickly works better, or pressing slow etc. The same headphone cord works excactly right on my Samsung S8 phone; therefore I assume the cord is OK (and especially that the values of the resistors in the cord comply with the CTIA standard).

Any "best practice" experience that appears to work good?

Thanks, Herman
