Unless it's a double album, why would you need to? As above, surely after an album, it's good to pick another album or folder?

Maybe I don't get it, because I come from an age where I had to walk one side of room to other, and turn the record over. Each six songs!!!!

If I like to random play all of an artists music on my player, it's not possible without folder play through , unless you throw all tracks by an artist in one folder, no album folders, which is an awful solution

Even on low gain, SE846+QP1R at volume level 90 will blow your eardrums out. Seriously - be careful with your hearing - science knows no way of regenerating cilia once they're dead. If you're really listening to the QP1R at volume level 90 with the SE846, you either have serious hearing problems, or you very soon will have.

My son tells me they're working on some sort of genetic modification that might be able to regenerate them.

Those were the days. But, for a double album, I just renumber and retag, and put in one folder.

That may be true, but the fact remains and Maurice agrees that the volume on 1.0.9 is about 20% lower than 1.0.8.

I'm not positive, but I heard somewhere that 27, for example, on 1.0.8 is somewhat like 40 on 1.0.9. So yes, not linear. Maybe a choice selection for the next (if) firmware update. I'd choose to stay with the 120-step volume, understanding other people might have a different preference.

I am so stoked. For the first time ever, my battery went to 10%, a message stating charge battery showed on the screen briefly, and the battery symbol turned red. I had no idea all of this happened with a properly functioning battery indicator. Bruce is the man!

That's great news. Maybe they stuck a new battery in there while they were at it, to give you a fully refreshed unit.

My loaner was returned last week. Looking forward to getting mine back just in time for an overseas trip.

My QP1R came back from repair today. Big thanks to Bruce @bSquared64 who endured all my questions and emails.
The new wheel skin is excellent. Makes a big difference in scrolling and navigation. Questyle was top notch and had excellent customer service.
