I don't want to steal the thunder from @moedawg140 and all his comparisons, but my one big take-away was that the QP2R sounds really, really nice! Back to back against the Hugo 2 it holds its own and then some...

Nah, it's all good, my friend - feel free to share your thoughts! I agree with your take-away as well. Next time we've got to try the Black Label digitally. I've got an Anker USB-C to micro USB adapter arriving soon, so maybe that one will work with the QP2R and REI...we shall see! I may have to use the Cute USB hub-splitter for it to work since I've used that to success with other DAC/amps connecting to devices.

If we can't meet up at the upcoming T.H.E. Show, we'll meet soon for some more fun!

What was your favorite IEM of the bunch? Mine of yours is still the modded FLC 8S with your Ted Allen cable you made. Whew!

Wow that's what we need! $250 sounds reasonable. A few weeks ago I bought a 256gb micro sd in Argos (UK) for £119.99 and when I checked a couple of days ago it had gone up to £169.99!

I haven't tried the Nighthawks out of the QP1R but after hearing the Nightowls out of my QP1R at this years London CanJam I liked the pairing so much I purchased a 2nd hand pair within a couple of weeks after the event. A real bonus is they also sound incredible straight out of my Dave.

Yeah, $249.99 isn't terrible for that much capacity on the size of a fingertip. I'd reckon if the cards are available soon, that there will be a sale of some sort come the time around Black Friday.
