I own almost all koss - the ksc75, portapro, khp30i, sportapro, ktxpro1 and I like the sound of the ktxpro1 the most.

I own a pair of the plastic ones. Honestly one of my favorite pairs of cans. I will nitpick and say that, if I am getting this right, the bass is a bit thin. But for $20 you could also get cheap cans from a bigger better company with mushy top end, paper thin mono soundstage and a crushing amount of bass. So overall while they pull your hair out they're comfortable and sound fantastic. Just don't throw them in a bag. I had to buy another pair.

I know Katysax already compared the sound on this thread. But could someone do an in depth comparison between these and a pair of PortaPros? I don't own a pair and I would like to know.
