Well, they are certainly good enough to warrant that. A week later, the D5000's continue to impress. They remain, in some respects, the best headphone I have ever owned.

Man, to me, those would be the same. Natural as in, as if you were there, and a faithful reproduction of exactly that sound.

More listening with the Denons has made me feel they really like tube amps. The D5000's seem to be current hungry, and tube amps deliver current easily. The D5000 sound especially good with the ASL MG Head OTL mk III (in transformer mode).
