Ever since I have become an audio enthusiast, I have always focused on the IEM part of the audio chain. Now that I have delved deeper into this hobby and gotten some great sounding IEMS, I have also recently discovered that DAPs elevate my music enjoyment further on-the-go. Ever since owning the Mojo, I am deeply interested in 

FPGA technology, and look forward to testing more devices utilizing it. Being the owner of the Mojo and the AK380 as well as a plethora of IEMs listed above, I will be able to do detailed comparisons, in particular with DSD files.

I am a hard man to impress and will not write pleasant words for the sake of it. I will be honest but also critical if warranted. I have previously been on the review tours for Shanling and Aune players and was supremely disappointed. Can you do better than them?

Plus, I am always on the lookout for a dedicated DAP, and there are virtually non-existent stores that carry let alone demo units. Plus, I have a lot of time on my hands. It's sad...

    all weekends, I listen a lot at work, so freetime not required for review. I also listen for at least 2hours per night while out with dog...

Not free between Oct 17-28 but if you can send the unit before that, I can bring it to where I'm going for vacation and listen. I listen hours on end each day so rest assured that the unit will be put to the test sufficiently.

I'm young at Head-fi but I've been a lover of good music and good audio all my life so I know good sound when I hear it. I'm pretty sure I'll even know great sound when I hear it.
 
I'd like to contribute to your success by providing my honest opinion about an upcoming product. Honestly, this is the first time that I heard of Soundaware and when I checked the specs of the M1, it looks very promising. It just might be one of the best value gear but I'll leave that to the results of my tests (if I ever make it to your list of official reviewers).
 
In a nutshell, a fresh perspective. That's what I can offer.
