So the more I listen I am thinking that maybe reversing the channels in Foobar might be a possibility.

When I listen alot of times it feels like I am not facing the Band more like we are facing the same direction. so instruments sound around me and not in front and around me. I am curious if anyone here does the reverse stereo channels thing, since I do see it on other sites but not ones with higher quality gear. Just curious about the orientation of sound, thanks.

It's really simple for channels to be flipped somewhere along the line, but reversing them wouldn't solve the problem you're describing.

X2

Reversing them will just flip "stage right" and "stage left", if you will.

Sounds like you need a more laid back headphone than anything. Don't think changing the channels would put the music in front of you

Try Dolby Headphone. That fakes a 'forward' headstage.

Or just get a headphone that projects a forward headstage in the first place.

it has happened on some classical recordings on both HF-2 and D7000
