Long story short, I bought the akg k240s back in November, the headphones are pretty decent. But last week, I got a used sennheiser hd555 for dirt cheap. After doing the foam+sound stage mod, I really liking the sennheiser. There is no reason to keep both pairs of same grade headphones right? Should I return them, and save the money for the next level upgrade later? or keep them? Since I can't use the 555/k240 on2go due to sound leakage. I'm also looking for a comfortable closed headphones under $150/$100 so that I can use on campus. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Heya,

If you're not going to listen to it, and you're not collecting, then sell it or return it.

For a comfortable closed headphone for use on campus, look into:

Ultrasone HFI 780
AKG K167
Vmoda M80
Beyer Custom One Pro

Very best,

I have a pair of k518le, they are "fun" but not comfortable. i was also looking at the k167, how comfy are those, and do they worth the upgrade from the k518?

And am considering the CAL! as well.
