The sweet spot is up to you really.

I personally liked the E4 better when paired up @ 200 Ohms.

I like E4's more straight out of my Meizu M6 headphone out than out of my laptop + Move (with/without the attentuator). I find the bass overpowered with Move. Maybe that's because I have used to PK1's (grado SR60's sound muddy too).

How many ppl think that amplifying E4's make them sound better?

Damn, you were right.

The "problem" was that I didn't have a perfect seal. When I originally tested I didn't like dual flanges because bass sounded too muddy. Well, it seems that muddiness was supposed to be there:

Sensaphonics / Seal Test

I took this test and noticed the bass to be stronger with dual flanges then others. Then I tested with the attenuator.. muddiness is gone. Too bad these aren't the most comfortable ear tips.

I have to do more tests but I can see the light now. I hope.
