hi,
 
i caught my cable on a gate whilst out running and ive broken the cable at the jack.  can any tell me if this is a simple mod to repair this and if so:
 
1. do i need a mono or stereo jack
2. is this any easy thing to do (for a novice like me)
3. any links available to show one how to do this
