Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right section for this post so I apologize if it is.
 
I recently bought the Fischer Audio FA-004 headphones and the earpads are not large enough for me. The pads aren't deep enough so after light use my ears are aching like mad.

I plan on returning it, but I hate dealing with returns. Is there any way i can save these?

If so, perhaps, you need to pay attention to measure the inner hole of the new earpads. 
the ear pads inner hole size from different brands can vary a lot.
 
you can try to check this site to see if their pads can fit you or not.
