I have the DT990 Pros, and they're very comfortable. Deep cushions, and they're velour, too. Excellent bass response.

I was looking at the DT990's but I heard the bass is overpowering of the vocals and I think i want a generally higher quality headphones ( not that the dt990's are bad). I went ahead and contacted markl mods. I think the md5000's are my choice.

As for the DX 1000 I actually tried that and it work better then most headphones... though I still don´t know why you should wear glasses normally with headphones? It does break the little seal there is so if isolation is a concern it wont help anything. And they are still more comfortable with the glasses on top.

markl D5000 have a similar construction so it may work decently. It doesn´t have much isolation to break so that won´t be much of an issue I am sure.
