Replacement tube's question

Yes, definitely glad that it's solved now. I need to do comparisons to the 12au7 tube and see how noticeable the differences are.

I am pretty sure that air somehow got into the first 12au7 tube I was using. The tube would glow purple for a few seconds and then it eventually stopped glowing. No audio either. I am not sure how it happened, but I would assume that it happened in the shipping process.

can someone recommend a tube that offers a rich organic tubey sounding tube that has

1- best bass in quantity and quality
2- gives great power
3- warm and tubey sound

i have used sophia tubes and feels it lacks richness and bass
